Considering this month’s exploring coffee by region post was on Ethiopian Coffee, it is only fitting that we share a recipe for Kahawa, which is an Ethiopian coffee recipe. If asked to characterize this delicious coffee recipe, it can be explained as being a cross between a hot cup of coffee and chai tea. If interested in trying this unique coffee, here is the recipe!

  • 1 Quart Cold Water
  • 1 to 2 Cardamom pods
  • 3 TBS Freshly Ground Coffee

  • ¼ tsp Ground Cardamom
  • ¼ tsp Ground Ginger
